Lock Screen

anyone using a custom lock screen? Not a huge fan of Moto's. It looks nice, but seems kinda slow to actually unlock. I'm more for speed/functionality.

WidgetLocker FTW! I had held off on using it for so long, but just recently purchased it and it's definitely awesome and worth the 2 or 3 bux it cost.

I'm using widget locker. Great app. Great Skin support at Xda as well!

Yup. Exactly why I purchased it. I wanted more of a customized Sense locker...but right now, I've been loving my pacman theme locker! I saved a bunch of others that I'll try out at some point, but the support of Widgetlocker at XDA is always a good sign that the developers made a good app.

No lock??

I tried it and it doesnt work, others on this site have reported it doesnt work for them also.

I was using on my Tbolt.

Somehow I don't think if it didn't work for anyone it wouldn't have a 4 1/2 star rating in the app store.

I've used it for months on my Evo with no problem whatsoever and now for a week on my Photon again with no problem whatsoever.

+1 on agile lock. I love the sense lock on my rooted evo. I have had widget locker and it is good as well. I personally like the look and easy of just throwing the ring anywhere to unlock it.

Only thing is the notification bar is still accessible from the agile lock screen. Again no biggie.

It worked on my tbolt

But, There is another thread on this site, dont remeber which thread, and everyone that reported said it was not working for them either. It seemed as if maybe it didnt work with photons.

there are apps that work poorly with certain phones, hence the reason it doesnt have a perfect 5 star rating

Most people probably already know this but I just downloaded widget locker so that I could put a phone number to call if I lose the phone and an honest person finds it but the screen is locked. Also stuck on widgets for turning off and on the ringer, bluetoooth and wifi so I don't have to unlock my phone to do these tasks. Works great.

Hello fellow members! :)

I've deleted a couple of posts and a line here and there in order to keep the flow of the discussion. Please note that personal attacks on fellow members is against the forum rules. We don't want to scare away lurkers, okay? Please be civil.

Also, bear the following in mind: "Please report, don't react!" If you see something, please hit that report button over there on your left hand side. Don't take it upon yourselves to join in the fray. Thanks!

Ok, so I've set up LockMenu to open all the programs I like (which is pretty slick), but when I unlock to Home, or just unlock, it takes me to the usual lock screen so that I now have to slide to unlock the phone twice. How do I disable the standard lock screen?

I should note that I have my work email hooked up to this thing, so I am required to have a password set for exchange reasons. Hopefully that's not killing things for me!

Thanks!

Just change the amount of time until you have to enter in the security password for your exchanged. I think that defaults at 10 minutes (e.g. if you don't use your phone for 10 minutes, the security lock screen will activate).

Ultimately, if you're required to have that on your phone (I am too), then you shouldn't remove it (for security reasons), but you can make the amount of time. I have the security timer set to the longest possible amount of time before I have to enter the password when unlocking.

I tried both Widget Locker and Agile Locker to replace the Moto version. In both cases I found they would revert back to the Moto version almost as if by default. In frustration I tried No Lock, and I like it best of all. And so far, No Lock is not being over-ridden by the stock screen locker.

Yes, I'm using Agile Locker but the Moto stock lock screen does seem to randomly pop its head up from time to time especially when on a call using blue tooth. I don't want my phone to lock at all when I'm on a call; although I do want to be able to turn off the screen. Any suggestions?
