Help lockscreen GRRR!

hi guys, just gonna have a wee moan here. i hate the desire lockscreen, and more specifically the inability to unlock with the trackball before swiping.

if iphone can do it, why cant we. i dont share peoples worry at 'wearing out' the power button, but its quite awkward to use with ease.

i have tried lockbot and have had nothing but problems. total garbage. buggy, slow and unclear.

would it be possible for an update that would allow unlocking using the trackball eh?

Not really the same thing as above ,but ,my daughters wilgfire can chose diff wallpaper for lockscreen,this was added when she updated to Froyo at xmas.but is not an option on Desire.

Have you tried installing the No Lock app which let's you unlock screen with any button including the track ball?

I can unlock with trackball, but I am running a completely different rom.

Sure does....
it allows scrollers, themes and all sorts

does widget locker allow screen unlcok using trackball because it prevents the phone from sleeping? coz thats a bit of bummer for battery life etc.

i dont care about fancy shit like pictures and sliders, i just wana be able press the trackball then swipe my screen to unlock.. can it be done?

Why would it prevent it from sleeping?

I use widget locker with trackball wake. In 11 Hours, my partial wake lock by widget locker is 18 Seconds.

Also, my rom has trackball wake.
