Root Lollipop root not working with Kingroot

Any tricks I can try? I'm shit outta luck on rooting because I understand that it is not possible to downgrade from Lollipop, and Kingroot is not working.
 
If you took the OTA update to get to OF1 there's no root.
If you're on OC1 Kingroot works, most get it with the desktop version, and it may take a few tries.
