Root Looking for a rooting tutor...

I have had the Droid X for about 3 months now and am getting sick of all these restrictions. I had the Droid Eris before this(lets just say that was some experience) and think i am ready to finally figure out how good this phone can actually be. I have read most of the rooting guidelines and tried reading up on all the definitions and lingo that is used, but am still quite confused. If anyone has any extra free time and would like to possibly help me out with questions and guiding me to the best apps, roms, themes, etc. Please private message me..

I'd be willing to help also..... just PM me if ya want! I'm pretty familiar w/ the X now....i owned a droid 1 and it was rooted and I flashed lot's of ROMS, Kernels, and themes.... so PM if ya want....it's easy easy
