So the instructions says to do a full wipe... I'm not sure I know haw to do that in cwr, coming from amon ra recovery. Can you help me out?
I found that this thread/OP was very helpful for me learning about how to flash, the various wipes, etc:
[REF] Start up guide for rooting, recovery, ROMs, de-brick, and tether updated 05/23 - xda-developers
--When installing new roms, do the factory wipe, wipe cache, and under advanced in CWM, wipe dalvik cache. Do it three times, each (ie. factory wipe x3, wipe cache x3, wipe dalvik x3)
--When having issues with crashing programs and such (also called a force close, or FC for short) it is helpful to wipe the cache, wipe dalvik, and to fix permissions (also under advanced in CWM). Dont wipe data when troubleshooting a FC though, as you will lose your settings.
As for all the roms, it seems that if you want gingerbread, then as noted, Saurom is the most popular.
As for the ICS roms, wait a day or two perhaps as there is a new kernel leak, and all the devs are testing the new kernel so there should be a flood of updates.
If you decide to flash, any of the roms by flapjaxxx are considered solid. In fact, you will find that many of the other roms are modified versions of his. I have used Onlyone and Team Perfection's roms, and both are modified versions of flapjaxxx's rome. So far, I like Team Perfection's the most, and the new kernel should be included today some time.
