Looking for an app to do this

Is there such an app as to just add a note to google calendar? Or a calendar that does this?

Most of the calendars make you add an event.

What I want to do is use a calendar and just add someone's name to a date. Basicly when some one does show up to work or comes in late I can do a quick edit to keep track of attendace.

What you may want to do is look at other calender apps that sync with the Google calendar. Default calendar apps on Android, Windows Mobile, and Palm OS have always been VERY short on features. Personally I use PimilcalA, but last I knew you couldn't get it on the Market. I bought it as a 3rd party app, because it is made by the developer who made the DateBook series for PalmOS, which were awesome in their day. There are some decent calendar/PIM apps on the Market though.

If you are using Google Calendar on your PC there may be a way to do it, as the PC side has more features. But I don't see any way to do it here on the tablet version of the default calendar.

you can do this with the stock calender.

all 3 of my devices are using the stock calanders and when i add a note to the calender on one it auto-adds it to the others calenders. just make sure to use the same google account on each and set it to auto-sync, done.

you can do this with the stock calender.

Really? How do you you set that up, cos I can't see any way to add anything except an Event to the stock calendar.

i dont really get i thou isnt an event just a note with an alarm? it doesnt delete itself or anything?

Yes but I am looking for a way to quickly just add a name of an employee doesn't show up to work.

Simplicity is what I am looking for.

o.k. found an app today in the amazon "free app of the day" called note calendar.

it will do basicly what i need.

real simple. just hit the + button and add a note. i do have to click on the day to bring it back up. but it will work.

i wish there was a calendar like windows phone 7.5. you just add the note and it displays on the date for quick reference. i borrowed a used samsung focus over the weekend from my buddies pawn shop to play around on over the weekend just to see if i would want to switch when windows 8 comes out.

i know i sound picky but i would just like to be able to show my employees without all the clicking on days for how many days they missed or was late during the week or month.
