Looking for App to Wipe "Recent" Data on Shutdown

I'm looking for a program (app) that will wipe recent call/text info from phone (DX) when shut off. I rarely shut down the phone, but if an authority figure were to ask for the phone to decide if it had been used recently when it was not supposed to have been used, then I would like to be able to shut off the phone before I hand it over with selected info wiped on shutdown.
Any ideas?????
Developers?????

Perhaps someone who got pulled over in a school zone? In Texas if you are calling or texting in a school zone, it's about a $350 fine.

Or a widget you could hit a button and do the same. Wipe call history, text messages, etc.

Nice. Here in CA they hardly enforce the cell phone law. Unless you basically are at a red light with a cop next to you on your cell phone, you are not going to get pulled over. If they up the fines, that will be incentive to enforce the law.

I don't know of an app to do what the OP wants, and I don't think Tasker will handle it - first, Tasker doesn't wipe data, and second, I don't think you can execute an action on shutdown.

That said, you could look into an app like this:

https://market.android.com/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager&feature=search_result

That lets you execute scripts on startup. What shuts down, must start up again, so if you shut off your phone, it'll wipe data when started up again. You will have to investigate what files you need to delete, though, because I don't know what they are.

Hope that at least gets you started.

There is an android.intent.action.ACTION_SHUTDOWN intent that is broadcast when the system is shut down. It should be pretty simple to write an app to listen for such an intent and delete a specified set of files before the shutdown completes.

Not volunteering (yet), just sayin'...:D

(I'd have to know more about exactly what files would want/need to be deleted).

Cheers!

There's a lot of things they can't do, there are also a lot of things they do do.

So true. Being in a family of law enforcement, attitude is everything. They don't go around and smash tail lights like they use to but.....you get the idea.
