Looking for ROM recommendations

I've rooted my phone and am now have noooo idea what kind of ROM I'd like to use on it. I actually really like most of the stock and think I would prefer one that kept Sense. I definitely need one that can do Apps2SD and that generally gets rid of a lot of the bloat.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I really like Sense ROM's too.

Spent a many months running Fresh 2.4.0 overclocked at 710MHz. It is really stable and works great. I started looking for another because I wanted to free up storage space. That can also be done with Flipz's Kitchen. Still may go back.

I decided to give ASOPmod 9.9.2 a try for a day or two. Here I am 4 weeks later still running it and loving it. Totally impressed with the speed and stability. I have it overclocked at 768MHz and it runs great! I do miss some features of Sense.

Next stop when I have some time to goof around will be LiquidSense. It sounds like a great Sense option.

Once you get a system down, it's pretty easy to change back and forth. Just use Nandroid backup everytime and keep track of which Nandbackup you want to revert to .

There are many apps on the market to replace sense, especially Fancy Widget which is one of my favorite

I had the same question, but only had 1 night last weekend to figure it out...

So I'm on cyanogen 6.1, which I love, but my hero has suffered some lag. I was hoping (and still am) that I can find some settings to tweak, etc., this weekend to chill this fat boy out for a minute ;)

Still wanna try other roms, just don't wanna *have* to...

*edit*

I just realized after I posted this that I had left a live wallpaper on...

I changed back to a regular wallpaper, and now it's all speedy again... (oops)

All that to say, cyanogen 6.1 with aforementioned fancy widget and maybe an HTC flavored theme is a solid recommendation IMO :)

Nandroid and flash a new Rom takes minutes, and you can always restore anytime

You guys have been SOO much help! Thanks for the good suggestions!
Now that I'm a little more familiar with switching ROMs, I'll play a little bit and see what I like best.
