Root Looking for some direction for a friend with a bricked Dinc

What's up fellas!

Have a question for you.... I have a buddy who just bricked his Dinc. It's been a while since I bricked a phone, last time I did it, it was my Droid X. Bricking the X was a simple fix. All you do is SBF back to stock. But I guess that's a Motorola thang.

So my question is, do you guys have a similar process for the Dinc? I've been looking, but I'm not sure what the lingo for this phone is. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

Does the phone turn on at all?

It turns on. A factory reset was done, now all it wants to do is load after you hit back, then locks up
