Root lost after flashing rom(newb)

With apps like Setcpu, you can set up profiles to underclock the cpu when the screen is off and overclock it when it is on, or during charging, above certain battery percentage, etc.

O ok. Thanks for the help man. I'm just trying to find the SetCPU app. Heard it was free for XDA members.

I don't know about it being free for anyone. It is only $1.99 from the market. First thing I downloaded for both my Evo and my wife's when I rooted them. Her's is running Netarchy 4.3.1- Havs- CFS- SBC along with Mikfroyo 4.4(haven't upgraded to 4.5 yet). She is what I would call a heavy phone user(texting, facebook, you tube). I have her's overclocked to 1152 and underclocked to 245 with the smartass governor and she gets 16-18 hours use on her phone with 20% battery left.

wow...that kinda what i want....i found the SetCPU for free. I have the 4.3.1 No HAVS necharcy kernel..havent set the over/underclock yet.
