Lost Battery

Is there anyway to turn the phone on without a battery in there by using the charging cable? No one seems to sell the battery, not in store that is and getting it online will be a couple of days ...

What country are you in? May be we can suggest potential shops that may stock it... best thing to do is go the a market and go around the phone stalls...if the big stores don't have any in stock on the high street...

Oh and I don't think it's possible without the battery to start the phone...unlike a laptop...don't quote me on this though
