Lost imei number

Hi I have a android 4.0.4 phone; star v1277 using MT6577 hardware and it has lost the IMEI number after a factory reset, is there any way I can restore this ?

Doing a factory reset should not have messed with the IMEI this sounds like an issue of your carrier. I would get intouch with the carrier and have them help me reprogram the phone for the IMEI.

Have you gone to Settings > About Phone > Status?

My IMEI is listed there.

Also, mine is printed on the phone under the battery

Already done so, went Into there store and they tried to reinput the imei and it wouldn't take it and when doing *#06#* comes up with invalid on the imei numbers (dual sim)

have now rooted the phone and tried almost everything and it still does not work so idk what i can do from here

This might be a long shot, i know IMEI/ESN/MEID are the pretty much the same thing but i think this is a long shot. Trying googling if there is a way to restore it.
