Root Lost Root / SuperUser Access.

Lurker
I rooted my Bionic last month and upgraded to 4.0.4 ICS.
Apparently Verizon sent out an update that is now preventing me from gaining root access to my phone.

I have already tried Motofail root process and it will not respond when I try this method.
Ive got usb debugging enabled and the new moto drivers installed.

Whats my options to gaining root access again?

-Thanks

I think with Jelly bean, Android will be implementing full randomization and possibly execute disable so all the wonderful buffer overflow type exploits to gain root will no longer work. Enjoy while you can.

Since jellybean has been released for the xoom (which is unlocked) and it is still rootable, do you think this will only be for locked phones or future updates or will this be specific to each carrier?

Oem unlock does not require an exploit to root. Motorola be has not followed through on their promise for a bootloader unlock for phones. That will likely not change. It is business as usual updating bootloader keys at moto. Samsung is locking bootloaders too i hear. Without an oem unlock, rooting will much harder. The only choice will be to buy developer phones.
