Help Lost text notification sound after update

It only happens when I'm in the text thread of the person sending me a text...thats when I get no notification sound.

If I'm not in their thread, and they send me a text, then I'll get it.

Anybody?

I think that is a setting you can turn on and off. Mine has always been like that though.

My boyfriend is having the same issue ever since he updated to froyo.

I am having the same notification issue as well.

I am forced to leave the texting app if I want any sound notification.

Don't have this problem. Possibly b/c I use SMS Popup which has it's own notification sound options, not sure.
