Lots of questions about Rooting/Customs/Apps.

comes with two folders META-INF and system, also boot.img and the radio update.
Just change this whole set to update.zip and boot the recovery image?

Yup, just rename it to update.zip. You do realise that this is unrooted with no customisation, don't you?

No, I had no idea.. Where is the cutsom one then

EDIT: I think I got it now, 2.2 update modaco custom.
EDIT2: The MoDaCo ROM comes with no radio update in the zip file. Can I transfer the one from the generic/rooted one into the update.zip with no issues? Just to do it all in one?
EDIT3: Will installing this unlock my phone also?

Nope, d/l the appropriate radio update file and apply separately.

Nope, you'll need to get an unlock code from your provider (or a third party).
