4G LTE
I have a Samsung Galaxy Victory with Virgin Mobile.
So has anyone in an area with LTE done any speed tests and care to post screenshots? I'm curious about the speeds and looking to get a LTE phone on Virgin (currently on GS2).![]()
That is a good question! The icon only displays '4G'. I'm new to all this as well. When i did my test i switched the device preference between cdma and lte. While in lte and running the test i would assume any speeds this high are lte as i know regular 4G/3G can't run this fast. I know assumptions are like... but in this case i can safely say this is a good assumption.excuse my ignorance, but how do i find out if i'm in an LTE area? when my phone says it's in 4G? im new to this whole LTE thing, so please fill me in... thanks!

Now that sounds like a proper answer. Thanks!Well, it's an LTE phone but it isn't capable of wimax. So in this case, when your phone says 4G it's using LTE![]()

Check your advanced mobile network settings- make sure 4G is enabled and you're not on CDMA only mode.
It does it to me, too, at my house. Not sure why. I'm not sure how to get to the MSL and all that.
