Oh boy!!!

Search YouTube for how to install adb, is a kind of long process and you need to setup your PC enviroment variables to use adb.

Sorry, don't meant to be a d**k about it :)

Lol its okay bro ive seen worse ppl act like a dick on here lol nd youtube suuucks i havnt found anything -.-

put the boot.img in the directory that you have adb in. Open up a command prompt as administrator, then type adb reboot bootloader, then it will go to a black screen with green android led should be red, then type fastboot flash boot boot.img

Make sure file you download is renamed to boot.img, after its done type fastboot reboot, and there you go you do not need cwmr to run the new kernal im runing it oh thanks sean82007 the instuctions are his no rick rider on my behalf tho

Sooo how did u get the kernel on ur phn???? Lol screw cwm for now lol tell me bro!

this is why I'd asked you earlier if you installed the usb driver on your pc!!! :)

so is there a working recovery at all right now? i hit up the #oudhitsquad but they had no idea

as i said in the message i sent you thats all thats working with the recovery, seemed like what the recov problems were for warp 1 with cache and dalv its the same here, so no not a fully working recov.

This is where I am getting stuck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I already have it rooted and am usually good at this stuff, but this one I can't figure out for some reason. Here's a picture of it

Ur suppose to type "fastboot flash recovery boot.img" make sure wen u rename the img file, DONT PUT .IMG AT THE END LIKE THIS ---> (boot.img) its already an image file...

Also put ur command prompt in The same exact folder where u put the .img file

Tip: if u get stuck while ur flashing nd it says waiting for device.. u have to install the driver for ur phn while its in bootloader mode..then ur pc shud recognize it nd it shud B Done real quick.

did everything you said and I'm still getting stuck at waiting for device. I am already rooted would that have anything to do with it?... I got it. updated driver with adb. as soon as I did that everything went smoothly.

No ur suppose to b rooted lol so dnt Worry Bout That. Nd r u sure u updated the driver correctly while its in Bootloader mode???? If its still stuck on waiting for device then u didnt update the driver manually.. u have to do that cuz ur pc wont recognize ur phn while its in bootloader mode

those links are broke. Please send me files. Have no recovery and can't find use update tool. When I tried to adb cwm and even a presumed stock recovery I get error cannot load boot.img

Can someone please provide the proper instructions on how to put CWM on the phone? I'm not new to this just with the higher grade the phone is more difficult to become modded. So please don't ignore let's help one another out plz.... thank u

I feel like an idiot but I have been stuck for ever and my phones acting up badly now so really can't.stress.more how I need a hand. After rooting my phone I have no ftm mode. I cant return the factory data and I can't get the update tool to work. As above stated.. I use adb commands but no good. Thinking maybe drivers not sure. I have try ed everything together the drivers needed. Will you explain what you mean by installing them manually.... and what drivers to use... from what location...

ok only after almost screwing my phone up that i discovered, THAT CWM 4.0.1.5 DOES RESTORE BACKUPS!!! I remebered a post being put up about cwm not being able to restore and i can comfirm that it does because i was trying to theme my phone which i will never try again, lmao now, which a minute ago S**t just got real, lol. But to my fellow zte warp sequent developers i can confirm 100% that CWM 4.0.1.5 for the warp sequent does do backups..... thank you and goodnight.... :D:D:D:D
