Hi, i am new to all this and am really needing help with my new phone, its a HTC Wildfire, could someone tell me how to get games on it, and how do i lock it when it is not been used and finally how do i check my usage on it, this is a contract phone and i have already used up

When you say "how do I lock it" you mean screen-lock? If so, just press the power button on the top. It also locks itself after a short period of inactivity. You can change how long this is...

Menu -> Settings -> Sound & Display -> Screen Timeout

Games are downloaded from the Android Market.

As for data monitoring - I can't find anything on the phone, so I've installed 3GWatchdog from the market - you can set up your monthly allowance and it will warn you when you approach it. This is my first smartphone, so I've got it set as a widget on my home screen so I can see what my "typical" use is for the first few months.
