So there is an incredible rooting application for Intel Macs called "BreakDroid." It is beyond all-in-one, as it does everything necessary to root the LG Marquee (and many other devices). It's kind of rooting for the incredibly lazy and/or stupid.
When I say everything, I mean everything -- all you do is double click the icon and hit the right number. It goes beyond the typical rooting scripts because it includes installing and starting ADB for you. The user needs no technical skills at all (not necessarily a good thing if anything goes wrong).
Here is the link to the BreakDroid app. Below is an excerpt I pulled from terminal (after I ran BreakDroid). For the LG Marquee, you use number 7, which is the zergrush exploit.
As you can see, it roots Kindles, Galaxies, and any phone that can be rooted using the zergrush exploit (which is A LOT). As you can also see below, it will install adb and fastboot for you!
If you are a Mac user, and don't want to learn how to install/use adb and use terminal commands. This is the app for you.
JUST BE SURE TO MAKE A DONATION TO THIS AWESOME DEVELOPER!!
(Note: it is not me, I just found it after trying to use another AIO script)
