Root MAC questions

i have a few questions.
i am rooted on 2.2.1 using tridents guide (thanks trident)

1. i did do the root on my bro's comp cause its windows but i run mac and i was wondering if adb (android sdk) is compatiable with mac? now that i am rooted can i use adb commands just like i did on the pc? call me weird but i liked doing it that way and i learned a lot from d2a and a couple others on IRC about it. thanks guys

2. if it is possible what drivers will i need to make it work?

It is possible I was running the SDK on a hackintosh. OSX doesnt need adb drivers.
