Sounds like you're rooted? If so (not to be nagging or anything...just a fyi) it should probably go in the root sub-forum.

Well, have you tried any SBC kernels? Those tend to take care of the 15% drop. Which is normal for our phones, something to do with the way the phone and battery communicate. Phone tells battery it's charged before battery really is.

Heres that link.

Okay, there was a big debate over the sbc charge, and it was mostly a theoretically possibility of it wrecking your battery, the thing is, it would require you to use your batter for several years... I think it was many years after the end of most 2y contracts, so no. I use a SBC kernel as do many of the other rooted users.

(in fact, a lot of people are anxiously awaiting the sbc kernels for the new GB sense kernels - none yet).

But, again, it's your phone, your decision. I think the risk is a bit hyped up, and when I first read all that stuff I was sworn against SBC.

just moved the thread to the rooting section.

I'm using the 4.0.6 SBC version of tiamat with CM7 right now. It's great for AOSP roms. With sense roms the Netarchy (2.2 foryo) kernels were good. Really liked those. I hear GoldenMonkey is good for Sense GB.
