Woman should be using the wall phone in the kitchen so they can talk while cooking and doing my laundry.

Don't have a current gf for some reason though.

Amber, yes, that love of heavy, solid things might be a guy-thing. My wife said the same thing, awfully heavy, but that is what I like best about it. It feels like it could do some damage! My wife is intrigued by all of the features, though, and was highly impressed with the voice search.

Girl, technonerdy and in love with my Droid. Just want it to be the best and do all the things I know it is capable of doing ('Navigate to <contact>' is number one on my list any help with that would be greatly appreciated).

I'll let a guy answer you so they can feel good about themselves. :D J/K!

Then again, I also love my Swiss Army knife (which I carry with me at all times). Too many years in the Army turned me into a technophile, I guess. :p

EDITED TO ADD: I think that if VZW tried a different ad campaign with the Driod they would draw in more females. the adverts that are currently running are, to quote another Phandroid poster "sci-fi driven." I've also not seen one female in the adverts (of course, there aren't that many people in the adverts at all).

Use the voice command "call" instead of "navigate".

Doesn't that just call my contact? I want to navigate to the address I have saved for that contact. As far as I can tell it is impossible with the current software. That is the only thing about the Droid that makes me unhappy. I feel it would be a quickish fix.

I have to say that it's a whole lot easier for me to bring up the contact list.

48 WOMAN ;) Love the Droid, and is THE tech for my entire family and circle of friends, AND for my entire corporation! So nya :D

*such a tech freak that I stood in line in a blizzard the day the Storm came out. Also kicked that piece of crap to the curb 5 days later...*

29-year-old nerdy chick here. I love the weight of this phone, and how solid it feels, coming from a vx6800. Lighter phones just don't feel substantial enough for me. Plus, how do you know where it is if it isn't weighing down your pocket or purse?

I definitely think this is a masculine phone though. I was the only girl in line on Friday (and I was first by three and a half hours). My female students all think this phone is too big, heavy, and angular. Plus, they seem to think I should stop talking about the phone long enough to answer their questions about organic chemistry. Silly kids.

I went to go get mine, and my wife (28) decided she needed to have one as well. After my 3G, she wouldn't get an iPhone (think she hates itunes more than I do, she uses iRiver/Cowon players), and has stuck by her corporate issue blackberry. This is our first venture into Android phones (well, unless you count the emulators I was messing with for creating apps).

So far, it rocks. She is still learning, but getting there.

38 and female. Love my Droid. Had to have it got it on Friday as soon as I got off work. So far no issues. (Except that everyone wants to play with it.)

Male , 31 years old and obsessed with my Droid :D

Vance , you should add a poll to the thread or start a new one. If you dont wanna I will :p

I'm a girl and kind of youngish and I can't wait to get the Droid... I'm only waiting for my AT&T contract to be up this Sunday so I can switch over lol :D

The only sucky thing is that Verizon is a bit more expensive than AT&T :(... Ummm I wonder if I could use my womenly charm to get a better deal.. jk ;)

Becca, you can find someone who has a family plan and sweet talk them into adding you, then you can just pay them each month for the extra charge. :0)

Oh Vance I wish I could do that. However, I don't really know many close people with Verizon... Everyone in my family either has AT&T or Tmobile.

It's ok tho, in any case I'll just get a second job or tell my mom to remortgage the house!

In all seriousness I think I'll only be paying about $20 extra than what I'm paying now... so it's no biggie!

Well like the title says lets post em up and see who's packin' what along with their Droids out there :D Posting your age is optional ;) The original idea for this thread is credited to Vance and can be found here. Thanks Vance!

Myself , 31 Male and freaking loving this phone!!
