I follow the Big 12 conference the best I can during the regular season. Both KU and K State belong to the conference which was considered a powerhouse conference all season. The conference received seven bids to the big dance but only two teams remain after the first week of play. Powerhouse? I will continue to root for the teams that play this weekend because I'm familiar with the teams and coaching staffs. My bracket has neither remaining team advancing to the elite eight. I'd like to think my poor picking continues and they both advance.

Well it'll probably be another 2 years before we make another tourney run again. I hope the freshman this year will learn from the defeat and come back strong next year.

Given who is left, I'm rooting for Gonzaga to win it all. As long as Mark Few has been there it would be nice to see him get a ring. Dude could have left multiple times for other jobs, but stayed there & put this program on the map.
I'm rooting for the Zags too. It would please me to see Kansas St or Texas because they are from the Big 12. I at least have Gonzaga making the final four but not in the championship on my bracket.
Zags have to get thru UConn tonight and unfortunately, they've been blowing everyone out so far.
They have looked way serious for sure. Should be a fun game to watch.
