Help Market issue..

Take the battery out while the phone is turned on...remove the sim and SD card, wait 30 seconds, replace the sim, SD card and battery, and turn the phone on...now see if it works :)

If the above doesn't work, you can try going to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> market -> uninstall updates.

I had the same problem.as you and this was the only solution that worked. my market updated itself again automatically later on and it worked fine.

Im getting tha same problem, got my phone back from repair this morning and it downloaded all my old apps fine but since about 5pm I cant download anything it will say "daownload starting " then just display "download unsuccessful" tryed what tuttle said but couldn't find the "unistall updates" option just clear cache, so did that but still get the dsame problem

Are you serious or just joking? If remove battery without shutdown phone it will harm to your phone and battery.

No it won't.

It's bad to shutdown a computer by pulling the plug because of how Operating systems on a computer work and mainly because a computer has a spinning harddrive. And it is really bad to shutdown a computer while it is writing and reading off a spinning hard drive.

But on a phone, it is hardly that harmful at all.

I wouldn't recommend doing that to fix a market issue. But pulling the battery from a phone isn't that bad at all.
