Help Market place broken?

Hi guys I really need some info everytime I try to update or install a new app my phone just says unsuccessful. what is going on here any fixes are appreciated
 
I would go to settings/ applications/market and clear/clean data. That worked for me before...
 
If you have a themed app, the newer version won't install over the themed version. You have to delete the themed version first, before you update the app. Hope this helps.
