Marshmallow Update OTA MetroPCS LG G Stylo

Well, if you try that LG UP method let us know how it works.
im thinking about it...i just dont understand why i cant use the lg flash tool? it worked fine flashing the 10j kdz, why do i need to use that lg up thing all of a sudden for the new kdz? and if i do attempt it with the flash tool and it fails what is going to happen to my phone?

Using LG Up was what LG advised using on 6.0 mm kdz and tot files and the. Flash tool is what they suggested up to 5.1. LP .
I have done what they said just so I don't have any unforeseen Problems and it has worked for me so far .

Not sure if it's just me.. but I feel like WIFI on both TMobile MM and Metro MM are somewhat unstable.

When I browse Reddit the thumbnails and next page gets delayed loading.

When I play Hearthstone game, it constantly drops and reconnect the game.

The speed and connection are there but they get interrupted often :( So I ended up switch to 4G LTE.

Anyone else having similar issues with their MM firmware?

Complaints are all over this forum and others since MM came out. I just upgraded my wife's Stylo (MetroPCS version) last Friday and she just complained about a wifi issue at work (signal dropping) last night. That is not normal and the first time she's ever complained. She had no issues on Lollipop.

She uses an old Toshiba Thrive tablet on a Jellybean custom ROM at work and never has a wifi issue.

havem't really noticed any issues yet but i haven't been running it long...will report back if i encounter any problems

I guess I am going back to Good ol' Katana :)

@Bard
I did 2 factory resets and wiped both cashes just because of your postings about your wifi. The pic is in my mancave dungeon and this is pretty consistant.

Did you unlock your bootloader before you flashed the kdz ?

no i was on stock lp waiting for the ota to come back...then i saw that the metro mm kdz was posted so i just installed that...then i unlocked the bootloader and rooted with adb

I'm gonna stick on this slim rom for a while. I'm likeing it a lot and it was easier to personalized than a stock rom and is running quick and stable. An not much bloat to erase or disable..

you're talking about this right? http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...lashable-update-6-0-mm-twrp-insecure-t3362853

i didnt have any problems personalizing metros 6.0...ive got xposed with all the modules i had on 5.1 and it seems to be running very nicely...i am curious though to check that out and will probably try it out sooner than later...

Not sure.

After a week or so, see if your wifi drops once in a while. For me, it drops and comes back within 5 seconds. Still it should not do that. The Galaxy S7 forum is filled with complaints about it.

The XDA thread for skinny rom is not clear. Is the first update zip a first version? Is the Alpha version the updated version?
