Mass adb push/install?

[tannerw_2010]

Just wondering if there is a way to mass install and or push programs through adb? I want to try out as many roms as I can to see which one I like the most, but pushing and installing my "essential" programs is a pain. Is there a way to "mass" push or install these apps?

Not thought I know of. I suppose you could write a bat file or something that might do it for you though

If you want to push ALL files in a given directory, using the linux convention '.' will do so through adb. For example:

adb push . /system/app

Will push all files in the current directory to the /system/app folder on the phone. Be careful though, since, as mentioned, this will push EVERYTHING in the folder, as you can't specify by file type / extension.
