Root maybe a solution for reboot issues

I recieved my new esteem from the insurance company (replacement phone ) but i did everything under the sun accorrding to rooting,backing up stock rom,and so forth,but when i flashed #2 2.7 my phone was randomly rebooting or just powering off all by itself,ive flashed the exitrecovery zip too,still same issue,so i downloaded a new #2 2.7 thinking maybe bad download,but nope that didnt help. so the solution i decided to try was, to make a backup of current rom,then i wipped everything and flashed my zvd stock(as is it was right out of the box,except for the root ) i didnt go as far to unroot but ,i then let the fone settle in,and then i wipped all again and flashed #2 2.7 and i didnt flash the exitrecovery,but some how the rebooting and powering off has stopped!!!
so in other words if your having the same prob,give it atry ,what do tuo have to loose,not sure if its been posted already and sorry if it has and for being so long,
if you have any questions or think its just a bunch of hebegebe,then thats your right but,if someone else tries it plz let me know if it helped thank you!!!!

Gonna try this if i have time.. Not really a priority right this second as it's not that bad.. I've never had rebooting issues but i disconnected service temporarily and went to groove IP/ google voice and wifi and i've noticed quite a few random reboots.. Thanks for the tip

Can i ask why did u use google it sucks and require a lot try majic jack its great and that word is a plus no logging in to account to check nothing just call and if u set up a account which is also free u get free voice mail which tells you through the email and phone you have mail
