I've used it. It's a good ROM.. Not the newest or most up to date but it's good. Its still on ICS.. Jelly verse is a good one too. That's got many ports from the s3. I'd suggest trying a lot of them and deciding which ones you really like. I've tried almost all of the ROMs available. I'm a flashaholic.. My favourite aosp ROM is baked black bean. I'd definately suggest giving that a go sometime too

I'm using it (Blu Kuban) and absolutely love it. I can't say anything bad about it. SelfElevated is right that its ICS but not having experienced JB I'm cool with that. The major reason I went with it is because I can use a repack kernel. Many of the custom ROMs limit which kernel you can use and your 4g speeds become terrible so if 4g is important be sure to take that into account. I wrote a bit about the rom somewhere on this forum not long ago. Let any of us know if questions on bk or any other rom of course. When I was newer (even still) I find this forum a LOT friendlier (is that a real word?) to new users and overall, maybe more willing to help? Idk... Way better vibe here overall imo. Dudes like Codegerm, SelfElevated and several others set me straight with the million questions I had :beer:

I also strongly agree with SelfElevated about using Tapatalk, makes forum use way better (although addictive!)

yeah i have tapatalk been using it when i started out on a samsung intercept. modded that thing to the hilt it just didnt have enough ass lol. then moved to the transform ultra and wife got the warp. now i got the s2 on its way

Yup study learn try.back on the warp i started to attempt to make a rom. That shit takes allot of work!! I know what you mean though. Anything is possible on android.

You wouldn't happen to remember where you seen the things that can be done With the feature xml file? I'm interested in that

Ok guys phone is arriving today but i got taekwondo till 9:30 tonight and gotta be back at work at 6 am so would one of you fine gentlemen let me know whati should do so i can play tomorrow at work this is what i am thinking newest agat kernel/recovery then the blu kuban rom or jelly verse and then mobile odin. i will not have pc access tomorrow at work so anything i need to do to get it " play ready" let me know. thanks in advance . oh i have built a usb jig already . cause i can solder like a mofo.

Work on the root guide today than and nothing else until your rooted. Once thats done you won't need a PC.

Also get an SDcard for your phone too. It is a great place to keep backups and kernels and CWM flashable ROMs. I have seen some that hop ROM to ROM on a weekly basis.

I got a 16 gig sd card at home waiting on it. I have studied the root guide and have odin and agat newest kernl/ recovery and superuser.zip thinking I should flsh agat via odin the install superuser then boot recovery make backup the flash rom of choice. Sound about right ?

The_Blu_Kuban_1.0.5.4 rockin on the new phone i am loving it . super fast and smooth got her rooted with backup made and custom recovery . very very nice . thanks guys for the help now time to read up so i can learn and help others .

ok just wondering im on boost and got the mms working great with SelfElevated2's help just looked and my baseband or modem is fi22 should i flash a difrent modem im running:

Read what I said in the modems section

- you Dont need to but u can if you want to. Modems can make your signal and WiFi connections better or worse. I personally allways use the latest one available for the ROM I'm on. Which for both of us is fl24. I'm on a aosp jb ROM but these ROMs cannot use a jb modem only ICS and below..
