So I'm on aosp but wanted to go back to the ga10 ROM but I odined back to the repack kernel and then tried through agat to restore my backup of GA10 and it just hung at checking md5 sum for over 30 minutes???? IDK what to do.

And it started with checking md5 sum, not restoring boot image. Weird

It always checks md5 before it does anything..and it always hangs on checking md5 for a very long time...so it could be ok...
However make sure if you made the back up with the ga10 repack that's the one you flashed.if that part is good then hit restore and let it sit on md5 as long as it wasn't.

It will start restoring after awhile don't worry
