Root MEID missing from old phone.

Hey there! Im back from the Evo V! Anyways, does anyone wanna share their NV file with me? I let the kids play with the phone for almost 6 months, and i went to activate it today and there's no MEID. I've been trying repair guides but none of them have been working. I've tried using a hex editor to insert my own, and nothing is working. If you have a tool that might help, please drop a commend and let me know. I am using windows 8! So lets hope everything works! HELP?

ATTENTION MODS: I'm not talking about cloning my MEID/ESN to another carrier. Just trying to fix my phone.

Have you read the two stickies at the top of the forum? Their for the AAA code, but you can use them to write your MEID back to you phone as well.
