Help Merge Calls

How do you enable this feature on our phones?

during a call press the menu button and an option should be there

I believe you need to " Add Call " First, which is to the right of Merge.

If you already have 2 lines going, then the merge button should be clickable.. that is odd

3.3.1 Making a Conference Call

You can set up a conference call with multiple callers.
�� Note:
Contact your network operator to learn whether it supports conference calls and how many
participants you can add.
1. To initiate a conference call, dial the number of the first person to be on the call. While you are
on that call, press , and then touch Add call.
2. Enter the phone number of the person you want to join the conversation and press , or
select someone from your Call log or Contacts. The first call is automatically placed on hold.
3. Once you have connected to the person you have added, press , and then touch Merge
calls to begin the conference call.
4. To add more people, touch Add call and repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. To end the conference call and disconnect everyone, press .

3.3.2 Switching Between Calls

If you receive a new call while you are already on a call, you can switch between the two calls.
1. While you are on two calls, press , and then touch Swap calls.
2. The current call is placed on hold and you are connected to the other call.

If this works as a normal land line does (and it appears that way from the manual), you cannot merge calls if you did not initiate the call to a 3rd party. It only works if you have someone on the line and then initiate a 3 way call.

EDIT: the symbols in the PDF don't translate to text, but you probably know which buttons to press for that part.

Thanks BlastGT1, that was what I was referring to. I was already on the phone with a friend and our other friend called me, so I wanted to merge the call.

that is pretty much what I said....u need to add a 2nd person, then click merge

hello I jst wanted to know how do you manage the conference call like for instance if I was on a conference call with 3 other people and I jst wanted to talk to 2 of them where is the option where I can hang that one person up & I know they have that option because the g1 & mostly all other android phones have that option and I actually seen it on the ascend one time but I dont know how to go back to it
