Root [Merit] [ROM] BLUE STEEL v2.0, all versions, all setups [ROM]

Mr.Stayboogy, I have to hand it to ya bud. Your talents never cease to amaze me. This is totally awesome, I LOVE it. (The THX was a nice touch as well!). Plus, about 160 Megs free space on my 990G!

i need to update the package i just haven't gotten around to it.

i will this weekend if possible though.
 
Will this ROM unroot the phone also? What about using the SDCard for app storage? Is that automatic, or have to set something up?

why would this unroot your phone???? makes no sense whatsoever.

read the first post.

the rom is rooted.

you don't need your apps on the sdcard with this rom.
 
I've been using the Area51 rom for the z990g from the Android Area 51 site and really like how it uses the SD card for app storage (I like having 700+ MB free for app space) but I hate the green color scheme that the rom uses.

If I was to install the theme file from this package without doing the Blue Steel rom, would that mess anything up that you know of?

Not sure if AA51's rom is Deoxed. If it is, it'll work fine. I used the Blue Steel theme on various other Deoxed roms. All work flawlessly. Also, you can still use link2sd with this ROM. It's optimized to be a lighweight rom, that doesn't mean you can't still use link2sd. This rom has init.d support, and link2sd will install a init.d script to work with it.
 
Installed rom via cwm now phone shows pinkish power symbol on screen and wont boot. adb doesnt recognize and wont boot into recovery. any ideas???
 
I have had the same exact issue with dropping calls like crazy even in testing with a good signal. I have updated all of the stock apps and haven't added anything in addition to the rom. Otherwise, this rom is perfect!

Just so you guys know, I think I have pinpointed the cause of the dropped calls. It seems to be something with Link2SD. I have been running stock with no issues for months now and two days ago I got tired of my low space so I decided to run Link2SD again. All of a sudden, I'm dropping calls...

Not sure what in the app is causing it but it's not the rom...

thanks for posting this because i've said it once before--THE ROM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DROPPED CALLS.
