Root MetaMorph Themes

Stupid question, but I've been looking and haven't found this yet--I like the "curved" unlock slider (in the Desire theme, etc), but haven't been able to find just that for the smoked glass theme...has anyone found that, or worked it up?

The new Hexfusion for 2.1 Roms ONLY: [MM Theme] HexFusion for 2.1 (ERE25) - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

I wasn't a huge fan of the original Hexfusion, but I love this one!

All of the icons have that border around them. The font is also apart of the theme.

The pulldown shade is looks really nice too. I don't think these pics do it justice...or I just like it. Regardless, I definitely thought it was worth mentioning.

Thanks for these. Can anyone confirm that they work with GDE? (on BB .9). If so I must be doing something wrong. I installed the update via SP recovery, then ran MM, and thereafter GDE wouldn't run, so I had to go back to my Nandroid backup. Thanks.

I just changed my ROM today but before I did, I was running DroidMod 1.0 with the HTC Desire MM them that I posted above. Before that, I had ElegantDroid installed, and neither of those had any problems.

Today, I decided I would try Pete's ERE25 2.1 ROM, and after switching to that I loaded up the HTC Desire MM theme (2.1 ERE25 version) and I'm still running perfectly fine. Not experiencing any FC/battery pulls like you were mentioning.

I DID have several battery pulls after installing various things like the 2.0 lock screen, which btw does not work well with 2.1 ERE25 lol, and a few update.zip files to modify the ROM a bit here and there. But after those battery pulls, my phone has since been booting up quickly and running smoothly.

The only problem I have faced with any 2.0.1 MM themes is Skaggz fonts and clocks. The will give you a boot loop every time on 2.1.

That's weird, because I used Skaggz fonts, tried about 5 different ones, then ended up just using Root Explorer to dump Zegoe back into my /system/fonts, and I had no problems whatsoever. I'm on BB V0.8. I haven't tried the Skaggz clock color changer, though.

do koush roms work with mm? there are a few i wanna install

Well, yes and no.

Icons and widgets in MM are universal (as far as my experience goes). Where you would run into a problem is with the framework. You have to have a cyanogenmod compatible MM theme for the framework (and possibly other items) to work property. I know this reply is late but I want to save others frustrations if they are trying to apply framework from a 2.0.1 or 2.1 (ESE53) MM theme on cyanogen.

i just want the battery icon in the 10k and 24k theme anyone know how i can get that? and maybe just a black or grey notif. bar would also be nice please help

i got the 24k theme but i just want the notif. bar what is it listed under the .zip?
i know on others is framework.res but i cant seem to find it on there

Can anyone please tell me what the google search bar is called when looking through a theme in Metamorph??? Trying to apply just it from smoked glass but nothing is labeled obvious to being the google serach bar??? help.. thanks

Ibanez the search bar is located with the launcher.apk

so you will have to theme that in order to change the search widget

I'm not sure if anyone answered this question already.....but I'm running Pete's Stock 2.1, can I use Metamorph to theme my phone? I love the way it is now, but I want to change the appearance to some things, like the notifications bar and so on.....please let me know...

Just create a Nandroid backup and try it. If it doesn't work, restore. No harm, no foul. You don't need to wait for anybody else. ;)

I can't get MM to change anything. I was wondering if any of you had some pointers for me.
I've tried downloaded themes and themes I have created myself, (nothing fancy just changed some icons in the framework-res.apk), but nothing works.
-I can see the zipped theme
-extract it
-select framework-res.apk
-click apply
-reboot...and then nothing has changed.

Any light you can shed would be much appreciated

Thanks
