Very interesting. So Ill wait until then and see what S4's and Note 2's are compatible. And maybe bite the bullet and buy one one rather than waiting for a Metro branded one? Hmmmm:confused:

Metro Branded S4 Is set to be around ending of June or beginning of July.

instead of a snap shot why not post the actual link from the source? well starting to make sense now. so we have now more options. buy the unlocked gs4 from google or buy the samsung touchwiz metro branded gs4 :D this should be interesting ;)

It's that "secret source" again. hehe ;)

Y'all might have the same one. ;)

Wonder when Metro will state that all customers on existing plans will be merged into the "new" plans? Hate to say it but those plans everyone loves are going by the way side.

I'm running a special on life jackets. :P

no no my source is highly paranoid lol and again like others all the metro firmware goodies we have on our subforum are thanks to him and no other.

Secret source by day, cocaine dealer by night. j/k

I too was "paranoid" at one time. lol

Depending on Metro's new plans and coverage, their service might become an option for me to consider once it's all said and done and if they actually do offer BYOD. So y'all might have to deal with fuzzels again in the future :D

Unlikely though. $39.99 is hard to beat but I would consider a $45 plan though.

I highly doubt they will force current customers to give up their grandfathered plans, if they did I could see many jumping ship, heading to straight talk or even others.

The only reason so many have stuck by metro this long is the prices. Slow data, even lte fairly narrow coverage and usually shitty phones:p Yet they remain the 5th carrier.

Oh and to correct a misconception, The Nexus 4 has the LTE radio and antenna, The phone was based on the LG Optimus G which has those, So they left it in as it would be more expensive to start from the ground up and build it, or to try and remove them from the phone.
Now they never submitted the phone to the FCC as LTE enabled and so in software they never enabled it, People found it could be easily enabled so they updated the software to exclude it from using the LTE radio People just downgraded the modem to the one that it was still possible and kept right on going, connecting to Canadian LTE, which is on AWS Band and Now T-Mobile LTE.
That is the only limitation on the Nexus 4's LTE it only has support for AWS LTE.

The Nexus 4 on HSPA+ or enabled on LTE are both MUCH faster than most of us are seeing right now on Metro. On the download HSPA+ on TMo is even faster than Vzn LTE in some cities. I would gladly "downgrade" from my current LTE for HSPA+.

The reason I say this is because Im sure they are going to restructure all of their plans based on T mobile's plans. If that happens I could easily see customers being merged to the new plans.

HSPA+42 is faster. Not +21. Granted +21 is still easily 12+mbps which is still fairly quick.

Data speeds are very nice with +42 though. :D

Puts my job at risk.
ah didnt think u were the source but nah your one of a few source that work with us and we would never endanger you. with that being said mad props and respect i was really thinking u found that on the net somewhere.

This byod thing is great...more selection for us...and to the OP...I'm sure this whole community appreciate your efforts...I do at least...;)...

So if this is the case, the same plan that costs you 70 from t mobile will cost you 60 from metro which is still t mobile? Or 60 and 50. Hmmmm.

What is the need for t mobile if that's the case when everyone can just go to the metro side and pay less? But the phone from t mobile unlocked and get a metro plan. That's wonky. Lol

Makes no sense. Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.
