Help Metro pcs easy wifi

I uninstalled that crap. it slows down your phone like all hell.
You know what I do? every time I stop at a red light on my way somewhere down my typical routes, I connect to every open wifi network in my Wifi settings.
That way, no matter where I go i connect. Particularily since most unsecured networks are called "linksys" or "netgear" lol...

I am confused. I had an older phone real old and I was able to get online without a problem, Now I have a Samsung Admire. Are u telling me that I cant browse online unless I have the easy wifi access?

Using MetroWeb browser (which is the stock Android web browser, but just re-named) you can get online anywhere you get a MetroPCS signal.

If you are connected via wi-fi -- instead of Metro's 1x or EVDO signal (for this CDMA-only phone), you will get online at a much higher data rate. Plus, some buildings block mobile signals. So, you would have to use wi-fi network or not have any data access.

All Androids have wi-fi functionality built in.

Some wi-fi networks are encrypted, password protected. Others, like at McDonalds are open. Some are open, but require you to use a web browser to first agree to their terms before you can use their network.

Easy wi-fi makes that process easy, but already having agreements in place with over 500,000 open networks. That way, your EMAIL, WEATHER, and other data apps like FACEBOOK app, will work automatically over the much faster wi-fi networks without you having to open a web browser and "agree" before you can use the network.

So, Easy wi-fi is a very useful app that saves you time and effort.

any other programs out there life easy wifi?

It has its flaws, like I only want it to log onto my hotspots that I pay money for, for example my cablevision hotspots.

It logs me in automatically, but it only has the option to join hot pots automatically, instead of having join only known networks

The following information is best to my knowledge, but I've tried it out and it seems to work this way:

If you turn off your wifi, you will shut down the app from trying to connect you.

If you turn off your GPS, you shut it down from being able to show you where the free spots are.

Okay, here's my question. I only use wifi when at Starbucks. When I used the Metro easy wifi app, I could just connect automatically (in the app settings you can set it to automatically accept terms and conditions) by toggling the wifi.

When I deleted the app, I found that I have to a) toggle wifi, b) go into my browser, and c) accept terms and conditions.

Is there any way I can avoid this, and just be able to connect automatically by toggline wifi like I did when I had the app?

Metro Easy WiFi is not a feature, it's a bug. I was able to disable it on my LG Motion, but not on my LG Spirit and it is finicky as heck and constantly drops my WiFi signal at home and at work.

I even entered my MAC address into my Router but still having the same issues.

I took my phone to a Metro Dealer and they said many LG Spirit owners are having similar issues with this app and until a fix comes out, nothing they can do.

"Easy" WiFi is ruining my new LG Spirit.

Worst.
