did you clear the apps cache/data after you installed?
try reflashing, repeat the steps. i actually tested this multiple times on different roms in quite a few different scenarios, and it worked everytime.

are you talking about the actual messaging icon? or when you open the messaging app? I think he is talking about the black background when you open messaging. i was a moron and kept waiting for the icon to turn black lmao

I *may* have spoke to soon, MMS was working lol. Not so well now.
Edit:MMS works but, only when the WiFi is off. I can deal with that.

i heard that happens alotexcept for apps like gosms and haandcent because they bypass the actual stock msg app, and on a good day on stock it wouldnt matter, but on some roms you have to turn off wifi.
any bugs or issues let me know because im re-doing this and adding a few more things.

MMS for me has been hit or miss. Before MetrON it was always miss lol. Glad I switched to CM7 because everything else was either too bogged down or kept F/C. This has been great. Great job to the devs. Thank you all for your hard work, support, and information.

updater script mounts them for you now.

yes i did, and i actually learned alot from it!
i swapped out the mms.apk, changed the eri.xml, edited the mpcs.sh, the manifest, and edited the the updater script to mount the ext4 system and data dev blocks..some other stuff too i cant rememebr atm.
i hope you dont mind, i did give you guys full credit too.
im still changing stuff here and there i have a version that will work with joyos also and an updated eri

thank you! yea the actual app isnt edited as far as i know its a stock app from another phone i cant remember atm..this was all based off the metroff 1.3 gb aosp, and the mms.apk that came with wasnt playing well with our phones, sending weird code and icons were scrambled and such.
any input you have would be awesome! it was a post you made in the cm7 thread that had me digging deeper. thanks again for all your work!
