Root [MetroPCS] button combination for recovery

anyone know the button combination to get in to recovery when phone is off i tried everything i could think of and nothings working :(
 
Are you rooted or stock
If not rooted and if rooted

MS500 OPTIMUS F6 HARD RESET INSTRUCTIONS 1. TURN THE POWER OFF.

2. PRESS AND HOLD THE FOLLOWING KEYS AT THE SAME TIME: VOLUME DOWN KEY + POWER/LOCK KEY.

3. RELEASE THE KEYS WHEN YOU SEE THE FACTORY HARD RESET SCREEN APPEAR. PRESS THE POWER KEY TWICE TO CONFIRM, ANY OTHER KEY TO CANCEL. YOU WILL SEE THE ANDROID ROBOT ANIMATION.

4. THE PHONE WILL PERFORM A FACTORY RESET AND REBOOT TO STARTUP WIZARD.

NOTE: IF A FACTORY RESET IS PERFORMED, ALL INSTALLED APPLICATIONS AND USER DATA WILL BE ERASED. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BACK UP ANY IMPORTANT DATA BEFORE PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET
 
if you have CWM from pressy4pie installed, then you need to pull the battery for a second, and hit the power button to drain the caps. Now, put the battery back in, and hold vol down+power until it asks to factory reset. press power twice, and you should be in cwm. It does wipe data tho.
 
well thats dumb lol anyways i lost root and cant get it back cuz i install the overclock kernel and it broke the knockon feature and i liked that feature so i factory reset and havent been able to gain root again. I've been trying to go back to i and start from scratch but cant figure out how but its whatever right now im gonna take a break from it for a bit
