Since some of the pixels are white which means they are being written correctly. Leaves my byte mis addressing theory defunct. My next theory has me considering the camera hardware I guess comparing the two kernel sources would help... One for 12b with working ov cam and the molded kit kat one. It may simply be an off settled defaulting camera hue variable. Has anyone tried to locate this variable in source?possibly a bad camera image filter codec?

It would be absolutely amazing if you could work on Lollipop. Contrary to everyone else, I think that we should abandon everything kitkat and move straight to lollipop, to get the most out of this phone. I'm also curious if a similar thing like Freedom Kernel would be possible for a lollipop rom? I'm able to successfully clock my phone at 1.404 Ghz stable on xperion. All of the other kitkat roms are locked at 1.2. I used carbon for a while with the sd card hack. It was wonderful until one day I turned on my phone and found it reverted. This doesn't happen to me on xperion with the same hack.

as i stated before if theres still issues in kitkat why would we move to lolipop.keep in mind this phone was abandoned officially so the developers are guessing workarounds without an official source code for this phone, except for the european version that did get kitkat.

without proper sources for this phone it doesnt make it as easy as you think.so no lolipop yet.if we cant fully figure out kitkat, why would we want to bring more problems trying to figure out lolipop?

the sdcard hack in theory was supposed to work on kitkat btw.xperions based off of 4.1.2 whitch is the last official source code.theres alot more things to consider though thats been talked left and right in these forums if anyone paid attention

I have been paying attention to a lot of the content here. Although there have been so many side threads piecing it all together is quite the chore. Maybe possibly a multi purpose guide would help like my back to stock thread. Yikes... I really need that computer. I need a proper image disassembler. To work on the bootloader image.

Same with the HTC one.I've given enough advice on the f6 to be content enough.and this project is taken off faster and has enough support even if I'm gone.like the f6 the one sv was another great phone that's been cut short.it just recently got 4.2.2 but is capable of so much more.one plus one isn't struggling at all.just be a fun phone to mess with but I'm in it for helping others as are you guys.no matter the phone though.the world needs to be unlocked.I don't feel I abandoned you guys as more as I'm helping those more in need.I believe you all in capable hands.gl on your ventures.hack speed

Well i hope that you are able to help DM fix this rom it really is a very nice rom. With loads of potential if we can just get past some of the issuses. But it seems that all the Kit Kat roms have pretty much the same problems across the board. with Blue Tooth, Reboot, GPS, Some have camera problem some don't depends on the Phone. I personally had never had a problem with the camera front or back. LED not working and the vibrate issuses, last but not least the call echo problem that everyone has had also the call volume being low. But I know that ppl have found work around on the volume and echo. but we need to have a perminate fix for all these issuse. But a lollipop port would be really cool also. But my thought is is you are able to fix this in the kernel then cm11 might just have the exact problem. Just putting that out there.

Thanks for the support. Weasel. A frew have just called me the pretty face in the window. Though I'd like to prove myself. My brain has become a Sponge. Before I get this computer I am brushing up on my Java knowledge. I hear Eclipse is good to work with with Android phones. And a Java bytecode interpreter will eliminate the need for assembler.

CARBON ROM REPAIR PROJECT

an interesting point was brought up in the thread so it has been re-directed to fixing the issues with carbon rom kk 4.4.4 by Dm. Bugs may be found in the source code that cause a memory hole on device system object fail. (black screen of death). See below...

Need ideas on fixing settings force closes. Vibration intensity screen and About screen. NFC and Bluetooth needs fixing. If any kernel crashes report here. Kernel may need repairs.

LOLLIPOP FOR LG OPTIMUS F6

has anyone proposed this idea? It requires the bootloader to be unlocked. If I get ahold of the image I can do it. I'm learning snapdragon assembly language.

This is a great phone. I could probably build from CM lollipop source with a proper device tree and a compatability layer for jelly bean device drivers and system objects. I have been messing with Java a lot. No more green kit kat cams. Lol . just so you know if I can dev a proper compatability layer this will solve the issue of missing drivers for new versions of Android

If you want to help or can provide knowledge inbox me please. I want to do this.

Also looking for devs for my group Quad Core . Need resumes for an application. What you can do and your experience and a personal message. Wanna be recognized for doing something awesome for the Android community? Inbox me.

actually, ive gotten Lolipop to begin booting on my f6. had some selinux issues
