Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Different S3 Carrier, possible 4g for metro?

Im not sure, but i have a buy on craiglist from a guy whos selling one, but its from sprint, is it even possible to use the 4g for metro, even though its not technically from metro?
 
lol and i doubt theres a way to bypass that, much less to even get one from metro?
i figured , but i wanted to know, metro wants 500 for it and im not willing to pay that much!
 
Where would you get a unlocked s3 with lte off contract cheaper than metro they're selling it the cheapest off contract that I've seen
 
also u can use straight talk with unlocked gsm phones. been seeing their good plans lately. sprint and verizon and metro are not gsm.

When i was on st i was having to use my data manager to keep track of data usage cause i wasnt sure how well the one in the phone worked and st doesn't keep up with it for you. Well now that I'm on t mobile and i can see how they calculate data usage, mdm was very very wrong and the on board data usage was actually correct.

Moral of the story. I was assuming i was using around 3gigs a month going by what mdm was saying when i was actually using around a gig. That being said, that 2gig cap st supposedly enforces seems a lot bigger now that i see what i actually use.

Just saying in case anyone goes by that app as well. Don't. Stock data usage is pretty dead on.

I called technical support for metro pcs. Gave them my model number and they said they couldn't do it. Are you positive it works for T-mobile phones?

I'm positive bro dont call metro technical support go to any metro authorized dealer where they flash phones don't go to the cooperate office and I promise you they will be able to flash it to METRO my buddie has he's T-Mobile s3 flash to METRO.

That's why I'm asking about this port cause the iccid card is not replaceable which means isnt just a plug and play which means some how you gotta code that card to the phone
 
what mrpnut posted, it does work if you buy it used/traded T-Mobile S3 will work wonder with MetroPCS, done it and one of my buddy did the same work wonder

With working 4g only porting of the s3 or any other phone only network data is 3g everything works but no lte if lte is working I wanna speak to the owner of it

So i went to my local metropcs dealer and they said they don't flash phone or any dealer in my state (new york) for that matter does. Any idea how i could flash my t mobile SGS3 without going to a dealer?

When I get a chance I'm going to his house and gonna takes some pic of his t mobile flash to METRO and everything working it even showing the 4g icon.

Wow that's awesome bud surprised someone that isn't part of this community has figured out how to flash their gs3 to metro with 4g
