Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 11 Nightly Builds for d2mtr

I'm on the 1229 too and the GPS wouldn't lock either until I was on the move and then it locked. It took 5mins while driving but it finally locked for me.

On a side note: the time would not stay in my time time zone despite settings.

Flashing to 1230 now.

Check "automatic date and time" and leave "automatic time zonen" unchecked. Select time zone manually if necessary. It will stick when your data kicks in.

So I flashed it and it worked well I downloaded all my apps it was working sweet but untill I turned it off and booted back up with in 10 mins while charging my wifi went from blue to gray forever I m not sure what happened I googled the issue and got tired of it I just went to backup stock root.. not sure what was the issue any of u guys know what's up? Might me a noob question.

Hey, sorry you had the poor experience with that build.. but here's what most likely happened.. sometimes wifi doesn't connect due to the wrong date & time format.. it could have been that i.e your wireless router was set to Eastern Standard time, while your phone was on Central (just an example), a quick look in your settings and adjusting that to your proper time zone and date will do the trick. I've had phones actually go all the way back to 1999 in the date, and just changing it does the trick. So, try that out. If not, feel free to pm me.. I'll be more then glad to help you to the best of my knowledge.

thanks, ill try it again.. im going to download one of the cm10's 20121215 before the 16 to see whats up. but if anything comes out ill post again. thanks for the help.. i want to D/L the 10.1 but reading still lots of bugs once it gets a bit more stable ill rock it for sure.

Can I revert back to stable 10. From 12/29 without like loosing data ? I can't have my phone off for more then 5 mins but I do need GPS

4.2 browser kills google chrome but needs a few things. Speed dials on homepage. Exit button and an option to keep screen on. It would be the perfect browser with those.

Just an FYI - if your nightly works and doesnt cause you problems, please, read the changelog before updating to a newer one. Not every nightly is better than the previous. They are there to fix changes, if you dont have problems and there isnt an improvement you need, stay with what works for you.

WTF is going on with CM10??? None of these Nightly releases seem to be stable. The last time I updated was 20121216 and there was a problem with the flickering screen. I went back to stock Rom, that was okay but I missed the Jellybean feel of things so i decided to go to 20121230 and Apollo won't work, Andorid AOSP Keyboard won't work, Gmail won't work and so on. It's ridiculous!

Installed 10.1 20121231 and the Home button doesn't work either.

Maybe you don't understand the concept of nightlies. They're for testing purposes. We install with knowledge they'll be bugs and report em.

If you want a stable jb rom we have a good few to choose from. Blackbean, aokp, and kingkang.

I'm pretty sure CM team of 40 plus people are doing they're best. Instead of flashing you should read change logs. Even a new build may have more issues then previous builds. Only one true stable thus far and its 10.0.0. Always read the change logs save you time and head ache

I hope these issues get ironed out soon... I'm running the last stable version (10.0), and I love it... but there are a few small problems with it that I'd like to see get fixed - but it is plenty stable enough for a daily driver (10.0 that is. lol)
