My battery life on this ROM ;)

Ok so you ported the mms from bb7 to this rom can we do the same for metropolis too so that long text can go without splitting
 
You can't use the MMS from BB on Metropolis cause its AOSP and metropolis is TouchWiz (well I think it will work you will just have the AOSP app instead of the touchwiz)

Is there any changelogs? (Just wondering)
 
The problem I keep having with this rom is if you swipe from the right to the left on the lock screen , to quick access the camera , and take a picture the camera will freeze, not take the picture and if you try to get back to the camera again it says cannot connect to camera.

Just drop that in your system apps set permission and reboot.

I just tested the camera from lockscreen and had no problem.

Mines works well are u on the last build 20130205?

I tried all previous versions and always had that problem and last night I tried 203, and 204 and still had that problem. 205 wasn't out yet , idk if 205 fixed it but ill have to download it later because I'm at school and I don't wanna kill my battery downloading a rom over 4g haha

I don't remember ever having problems with the camera so I'm thinking it may be something in your settings. I don't have any shortcut set to lockscreen (when I swipe to left it empty), I don't have any weather or news widget set up to it either. If you do uninstall or disable and see if it fixes it.

Also i'm using a pin to unlock.
 
I'm running the 2-04 nightly no issues did noticed the phone getting a little warm when charging after I took it off the charger it's fine other than that this thing runs perfect
 
I see where the confusion is. I'm not talking about the lock circle that you slide to the right to unlock, I'm talking about on the initial screen you see after waking up your phone and you see the little borders on the left and right that if you put your finger on it and slide it open (kind of like your launchers home screens) you end up at the camera (by default) and that's where I take a picture and the camera stops working
 
No confusion. At the lockscreen i swipe right to access the camera. It takes pictures fine. I was just exploring any possible causes, why yours isn't working. Like a shortcut settings could have conflicted something somewhere.

Naw it still isn't working for me on the most recent one. I tried not focussing , focussing, and it still freezes . This is the only thing that is stopping me from using this ROM daily and its pissing me off haha

Really?? That's so weird. I've been on cm10.1 for a good while and its never done that for me. :confused:
