Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Wallet

So...i know about that warning to reset Wallet before flashing a rom to avoid nfc damage...but could i just remove the app?

Yes you can. I personally use Wallet every chance I get. Never though I would have but I can't resist the expression on people's faces when I use it. "Dat boy got the devil inside him"

Thanks for the response man, appreciate it. And yeah using it probably makes ypu look infintiely cooler =p... so basically removing it is not harmful?

it sucked back when it was just the prepaid one, but sinc ei can have my paypal card on there i use it where ever i can :D

and yes you can remove it :)
 
wallet on my phone says something about my phone being modified.....how do I bypass that?

It says it's not authorized this device or something? That's because the phone is rooted. Wallet works as normal as being rooted doesn't change anything. Wanna get rid of it? Unroot.
 
If you don't reset it will it ruin it permanently? I didn't read about this before I flashed

There was speculation about that on ICS. All the issues resolved around that were supposedly fixed in JB. I've personally flash a million times without resetting it but I'm on 4.2.1. Google and do some research. There's a million XDA topics so I'm sure something definite has come out by now.
