Hi.

I was wondering...how hard would it be too hobble together a package to flash in recovery?

I want to install adaway and swype.....and maybe Opera or Chrome...the stock apps that came with XPERION are driving me nuts..

The stock KB sucks at understanding my swypage..
 
in your case, it will be just easier if you download keyboard and chrome from app store after installing a new rom

or save apk @ SD card then install them without connecting to app store.


if you want to make your own flashable, download working flashable zip ROM from this forum then start to modify,

@system folder delete everything except /system/app

@system/app folder delete everything then place your own apk here (swype keyboard and chrome browser)

@meta-inf/com/google/android/update-script, delete all lines except below

package_extract_dir("system", "/system");


this method may install apk into your system but usually they may need extra library files to operate, so I am not sure if this will work correctly or not... you may see swype keyboard is not working error...

so again the best method is installing them from the app store for stability and future update
 
Ok..i was just wondering so as to forgo insufficiant storage errors and force apps to sd during install and not after....

I was wondering if that would solve more issues than create them on a device crippled by too little system storage space..

Link2SD can only provide so much wizardry when the phone only lets me choose 2apps to install before said errors occur..

Despite all the formatting/flashing/and sacrafices to devious demons i have made..

This phone still has less ....i cant seem to get any space ...it's peplexing
 
oh also aroma installer may accommodate users need, depends on dev's configuration, it lets you choose default apps to be installed,

(advertisement :)) check my Dana rom if you have chance, it gives you keyboard option during install, you get the idea
 
eh...? i dont know where you get the idea of abandoned and unstable -_-?? but it's been continuously developed and been stable

right now it has youtube not working error but besides that you can use it as daily phone,

i am working on next version (ver.2) at this moment :p
 
No...you know..that wasn't the deal...it was the other KK port... i was mixing em up..

It was the link download it...i thought the Rom got dropped because the link was dead....

I tend to forget things...especially what I've done....unless it bothers me....

I'm mental like that...sometimes i will drive to the store...but, end up at my mom's and forget why i left the house..
 
I'm about to.....

especially since he threw in Swype....

the stock kb has Swype style input.....but it acts like I can't spell....

I guess Swype is more forgiving....lol...

yeah...I thought I had the KK port buttoned down...then it crashed into a black screen with all kinds of super tiny text...like the stock reset screen....but a whole screens worth....

all of the sudden storage ran out...and I keep getting random errors.....

should held out......but, it's not too late...

lol...I just keep hanging to fabricate reasons why the phone keeps changing.....

like a ninja imma flash it when everyone sleeps
