Root [MetroPCS] Lg f6 hard brick

Hi, i have hard bricked my lg f6 ms500 to pre-dead "Qhsusb_dload" stage flashing wrong rom using kdz updater with black screen only so i can't get it to download mode,emergency mode etc and i don't have a back up to recover from it.I searched google and found i can flash it to normal with Qpst tool used for Qualcomm processors like f6 (msm8930) but i think i need emmc contents, rawprogram0,patch0 xml files.If someone can post these files i think i can have some progress to revive it.Somewhere here i've read that now lg f6 ms500 owners can make nandroid backup and it might be useful to obtain these files,so i hope this might work.I'll post any progress so the info will be used to make a guide for recovery from hard brick state.Thank you.
 
A nandroid backup will only help you if you have a custom recovery installed. (And CWM and TWRP don't read each others' backups.)
 
Did you flash the f3 software? I did this and was able to get back into download mode by playing with button combos and using kdz. It was either the quick button alone or quick button and home, I don't remember. It didn't say download mode, the screen was just blank but kdz detected and I was able to load correct firmware. Wrong keys and kdz will say phone is disconnected. Hope that helps.

Happened to me once as well, the first day i got an f6, i flashed an overclock kernel from another phone and it "killed" my screen" the screen acted like it was off, but i was still able got into download mode
 
No it did't work.When i flashed the bad rom with kdz ,i had the idea to go press the "read the phone information" button making it to force close unexpectedly and now the bootloader needs recovery from the start.For this recovery it can be done by giving it to lg exclusive service(personally can't give it bcz it isn't released in my country) giving it to eshops with unbricking services using jtag or flasher boxes like octoplus,medusa,riff box etc or using the Qpst tool for Qualcomm model processors using medium level flashing skill to recover.An example using Qpst is here but for an other android phone.This process makes the phone at least recognized like an external sd and it can then use kdz to flash again.
 
Process to get ph back alive. .
# take baterry out
# hold vol rockets (+͵-) @ sametime
# insert usb from comp
# let comp. Detects ph ( it may install drvrs)
# open KDZ softwr put 3QPSt download .. emergency
# run KDZ softwr. (With the right file ms500-10iv

The screen probably won't light up and tell you you are in DL mode but run KDZ and if it counts you're good. If it says phone not detected, try other button combos when plugging in USB then run KDZ. When I put F3 firmware on F6 phone it was that quick button (and possibly home at the same time, I don't recall exactly) that finally got KDZ to do it's thing.

Ok but are still running the F3 firmware? If so u are gonna mess up. Again. ...!!! U need to run the F6 MS500v10i kdz
 
Should have read this sooner had that problem I ended up taking the phone to corporate can someone link me to flash I and to root.
 
Flashed Hungary KDZ and now I'm hard bricked--phone doesnt turn on, no download mode or emergency mode.

Tried these methods and QPST Tool.

Any suggestions? Please help.

Try without battery on .... hold +/- vol buttons connect usb cable (already connected to comp.. like u are doing dlmode.. to see if it connects. Run kdztool with correct kdz. Even tho u can't see nothing on ph...to see if tools can detect ph..

Yep, tried that and several other combinations--no luck.

I'll try to search for a solution tonight, if nothing then the guy at the MetroPCS store will fix it for 30 dollars. I bet its something super simple. Just need to somehow force it into E-Mode or DL-Mode.

Hav u seen if computer detects it... like it start to load drivers.... if it does try to take battery out... press power botton for a minute to drain all power... then do the process.... another thing. Check if battery work in any other ph f3

Crap, I didn't even think about the battery being a possible issue. I just tested battery on a volt meter; showing 3.10v when it should be in approximately 3.8v. Too bad I don't have another battery or phone to test this out. I'll try to track one down or order a new battery and will post results.
