Yes rootdim cuts it off completely. Be careful what ya mess with in it. It will annoy you at the least. Basically go to the rgb blue green and red and set them to r0kill 0 or something and that's it. I had a problem getting them to stick. I finally tapped menu and auto bright exit or something. I believe as long as phone don't die or battery pull it will stay.
 
Yes, would be nice if there's a way to MetroPCS stock rom tether verification so tether can be use as easily as in custom roms.

Anyway to tweak stock rom to act like custom in this sense? I have no clue how android programming works, I would imagine it may be simple as removing one of their system files or app or tweak a command line...

Hi..Dm... just to give u sum headsup ... a lot of the libs are linked even double through out the source..
Like files,scripts,apks,db,,,etcetera etcetera too
Just take a look in stock source n u would see it.

I could by pictures but i would have to go back to stock... but if u can download stock source from lg n run tru it i mean extract al files n browse through it... u would see how many files n scripts n db are linked in many different ways..
1Quick example is sound libs how vendor(mpcs) n (lge) are combined..
Cus we even hav libs for (vzw) check all .rc scripts gives you a layout of how folders,,fils,,scripts,,apk,,clocks,,dbs,,

OK so I couldn't resist and came back to pac manROM...uhh sound quality is fixed for me. I can hear just fine and there's no echo on the others end.

No crashes..no reboots. Everything is just golden. And the WiFi calling and text i figured out what to do. So yeah. Pretty happy camper here! 😁😝

Edit: lol spoke to soon...Bluetooth doesn't work. 😭
 
Soo.. Idk if the lights can be fixed properly.. I tried source. And then I got curious. I deleted the lights.msm8960,, and the led still blinking.. So my honest guess..there's something in the lge framework controlling the LEDs.. Infact I know there is.. There is a folder in stock for emotional led..bunch of xmls
 
For the led root dim advice I just set the rgb to flash on charging mode. Works great. However I tried light manager to give it extra v options on missed calls and stuff. Doesn't seem to work for nothing but charging now lol
 
Is there a way to set that in the rom so it can be flashed that way? .

Is that something that isn't produced until after the build is flashed?
 
It should be noted for now allot of the hang and freezing to black seems to fade going into PAC settings init.d and checking all the speedup tweaks and loopy smoothness. Before I checked them it froze and removed icons. Now that I checked them it's running smooth. No hiccups except the light fix that needs to be implemented

Ask Viperdink... ifvu can use the one he used to built Kkmini or check on L70 source its running in kk4.4.2 u might b able to hav a guide line with it... i wish i could have my building machine good to b able to help

Right now i hav cm11 4.4.4
Stuck... b cause of that..... i fried my Mboard n vidCard :banghead::banghead::banghead::mad::mad::mad::thumbdown:
