Root MetroPCS Tiered 4G Plans

Well this would have to be a different case because of the fact that you had your device stolen lol BUT hopefully we are correct on this matter allowing me to purchase the Connect for the girlfriend and keeping the same priced family plan

well with the answer on there Facebook with note i dated my screen shot so if any shady thing is done by there part when and if i get a new 4G phone but since there is none that i like except the Lg Esteem. It would have to be better then my current phone for me to change

Question on 4G speeds,

I keep reading that the speeds for 4G are going to change, but I also read that's only for the people who are using the new plan structure. Is this so? Will we, who have been grandfathered, not have matching speeds as other MetroPCS customers? When will the speeds "change?"

Someone with experience in the industry would know better, but I cannot imagine that 4G service would be any different based on plan only. The rep that told me that, has to be wrong. The 4G network is what is transmitted, how could you alter that transmission based on what plan someone is on?

Thanks for the Facebook post Heat! A Metro store and customer service person told me that the plan would change if you purchase another phone. I am inclined to believe the Facebook posting over the people I talked to.
