Root [MetroPCS / TMOBILE] [ROM] U.S. KitKat MINI 4.4.2

My sd card is substandard and too slow...it turns my phone into a slide show...

I installed it successfully once...but as stated....the dead moved faster than my phone...

It's almost enough trouble for me to go with Dana or Xperion.....

So I can use the internal/external swap....

But,I like KK's bells n whistles....So....

Here try this to see if the lagging goes away...

Instructions...
** copy n paste in system/etc/init.d
*** permissions rwx.rwx.rwx (0777)
** open S.Manager look for it.
** same as sd hack open as sript.exec..on it
1.fav
2.su
3.boot
4.bg
Save it and exit

After that...
Open build.prop
Edit the lines ** system prop for data modules**
Add this line
Under
persist.data_netmgrd=1500
persist.data_netmgrd_nint=8
ro.ril.set.mtu1500=1

Save. Close...
And restart ph. twice

Very good rom. but the rear camera is not working. Phone is LG F6 Metro PCS.

Not hardware issue. The rear camera is working with xperion rom.

Help please!!! Thanks!
 
Technically it is a hardware issue. Lg used two different rear cameras for the f6 and when you buy one its a toss up which camera you're getting. The KitKat ROMs don't have the drivers for the ov5693 camera that some of these phones have.

Hroark13 did implement the drivers in his kernels BUT they are from a tablet with no flash so that's the trade off functioning back can but no flash....kinda sucks how LG screwed us
 
Wasn't he saying if a device could be found that has the ov5693 camera with flash and the same CPU he could make a better fix
 
None this is a complete ROM. No gapps are Needed.
Read and follow O/P and Post #2 "Helpful Hints" of this thread.
Down load ROM in Post #1 Which is the O/P Post #1.

Okay everyone with camera issues in this rom.. With the permissions of the Builder of this Rom... He has created. Some fixing poison for camera to be test.. Please PM me for the details....
ONLY PPL WITH CAM ISSUES..... and remember its just a test... Why because we don't want things go out of hand.. :D:D:cool:
