Did everything you said, but when I hit the widget to turn it on, it doesn't turn on. .-. Maybe it's just my phone.
 
Ok just updating here. The method explain DOES WORK. I went on an old ROM I had and it worked perfectly. So this method does not work on all ROMs sadly. KK mini in particular. But thank you all for your help. :*
 
I've rebooted many times since doing this and have never had to change it after. It works every time. I guess that is good :D
 
Is there gonna be any more updates to this Rom. Its made this the best phone around for the money. Thanks again hroark13 and viperdink.:)
 
Hi, I would like to know if there is a bug with not being able to change the lock screen wallpaper with my own pictures? I tried changing the lock screen wallpaper with my own pictures, but it never changes unless I choose the one of the preloaded wallpapers from the Wallpaper Gallery. I love the rom though and please keep up the good work :)

I just use gallery and choose 'Set picture as', and it works every time

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. The only pictures I can use are the preloaded ones in the wallpaper gallery menu. It's a minor annoyance and at least I know it's only a problem on my end so a clean install may solve it

Go to your gallery and find the pic you want to use. From there tap menu and select Set picture as. Option will pop up for lockscreen. That's how I was able to change it.

Are you using LG.Home or any other launcher?

I doesn't seem to work regardless of which launcher I am using (Apex or LG). From the home screen, I click the menu button -> system settings -> display -> lock screen -> Wallpaper -> Gallery -> image i want to use, and then I press okay and also use it for my home screen. Then I put my phone on standby, wake my phone up, and nothing changes. However, if I do all those steps, except I use the preloaded images from Wallpaper Gallery, it works. It still does not work if I open up the gallery app and set the lockscreen wallpaper from there, regardless of launcher. If you want, I can try to find a way to screen record and upload it
 
Try going to the gallery first and selecting the image that way. Only way I got mine to stick was going through the gallery instead of the settings

I think you should fix permissions.., factory reset or ... You are just like any other ones with weird phs... :thumbdown:

I tried fixing the permissions and still would not work. Oh well, again it's just a minor annoyance. Here is a gfycat link if anyone is still interested in seeing what my problem is. Thanks for trying to help guys.

Ok ..i just watched the video...
I believe its the theme its giving you issues
Lets try this 2 options first ....
* go to app settings clear cache force stop lockscreen app n try it.
* use lg optimus theme n try it.
If it does or doesn't work lets try moving themes ... I will tell you how but first try that

Follow the O/P

Tested Installation - with zip copied to external sd
1. boot cwm recovery
2. factory reset
3. wipe cashe partition
4. format system
5. install zip from external sdcard
6. go back, advance, power off
7. power on
8. enjoy customizing kk mini they way you want.
