Mic echo - Speaker vs regular use

Ok,

So I've had this phone (T989) for awhile and didn't put any custom roms or even root it. Mainly because my wife uses and didn't want me to mess with it. A few weeks ago, TMO had internet promo free phone so I added a line, coming from metroPCS Admire. Straight to the point -

I don't want to sound like a broken record because I have researched this issue which is been since people have put ICS roms on here but I have noticed while doing all sorts of stuff, new radio, RTS(return to stock) then re-root and flashing, the mic on REGULAR call sounds aweful and has an echo, however.... I just noticed after I did a RTS, I put the call on SPEAKER it sounds wonderful.

It would be nice to have a sticky guide because it's seems to be pretty common. I also don't mind being pointed to the best possible thread, Keep in mind I have read mainly on the XDA forms but I don't have an account there and didn't want to look TOO noobish lol. Any help is always welcome Thank you.

For the amount of hours I put in fixing this issue, I finally fixed this crap. When I get the chance, I'd like to put up a few links to help those with the issues I had to face and I don't think I'm alone. Should be up by the end of the day
